Admission with a scholarship amounting to 20 % -40 % of the prescribed fee will be offered to the toppers in NUCAT.

The basic eligibility criteria for admissions into BTech after 12th is that candidates should have ensured a minimum of 60% marks in their 12th exams. Besides, they must pass the entrance exams with the required percentage.


Here are the known eligibility criteria for the BTech course in India.

Candidates must have passed the 12th exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.

They must also have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the above subjects combined.

Apart from 12th scores, candidates must appear for standard entrance examinations like JEE Main, BITSAT, and other university-specific entrance exams for admissions.


However, there is another option which is B.Tech Lateral Entry. This is for the students who have already finished their Diploma in Engineering or a B.Sc degree. It will get direct admission in the second year of the B.Tech course. For BTech Lateral Entry admission you have to go through an entrance-based admission process. These entrance tests are known as LEET and are conducted by State-level education management every year.
